Mismatched kids from different backgrounds
are locked up together during a global crisis.

They don’t know it yet but
they’re going to save the world.

How do we respond to crisis? Usually by cracking a joke. Prisoners is about a bunch of mismatched kids from different backgrounds, forced together by a global crisis. Rather than buckling under the pressure, SARA, ANGELA and their friends are funny and clever and bold, a rebellion to aspire to.

In the near future, climate catastrophe has hit the world hard. Many nations have broken up, people struggle to survive, there are wars over resources and access to dry land. In the UK, martial law has been declared and every school has been commandeered to protect children... by locking them up. Cut off from the eerily silent world outside, the kids - now prisoners - only glimpse the ongoing disaster.
